Do you love teaching but need a change?

Are you excited by the thought of being part of something new where ideas are valued and supported through to realisation?

Do you want to have a positive impact on the lives of autistic children?

Hope Tree School, just outside Cambridge, is one of only two schools for autistic girls in the country.

We do things a little differently at Hope Tree. We are a small school with big aims. Our quiet rural surroundings are the backdrop to a learning environment where the wellbeing of our students is prioritised and the development of relationships is central to all we do; a genuine hybrid provision of both academic and therapeutic support. Our model provides consistency, predictability and flexibility to best meet the needs of our students, whilst also enabling them to develop confidence, independence and long term life skills. As our school grows, teachers will have the chance to shape the curriculum, be part of the ongoing development of the wider opportunities we offer, alongside the building of useful and relevant systems used to support student progress.

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic Key Stage 3 and 4 English, Maths and Science teachers to join our growing team.

If you would like the chance to join the experienced, supportive staff of a new, small school with ambitious plans, please request an application pack at admin@hopetreeschool.co.uk.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Before appointment to any role in the school, checks including an Enhanced DBS Check and workplace references will be undertaken, in accordance with current statutory guidance. Evidence of eligibility to work in the UK is required. A one-year probationary period will also apply.

Hope Tree School is committed to fostering an inclusive culture that promotes and values diversity and celebrates the diverse voice of our community.

This role has the opportunity for regular contact with pupils and therefore it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. By applying for this role you are consenting to Hope Tree School storing your personal data.
