Online Safety

Understanding how young people use digital devices and the impact this can have on their emotions, relationships, and sense of self is important.

The UK Safer Internet Centre has recently released a guide for parents and carers to help them support children and young people.

We have to remember that our children are growing up in a world where technology is an integral part of everyday life. Digital devices and the internet should be there to enhance and simplify our lives rather than be a cause of distraction, worry or upset and we need to support young people in striking this balance.

Data Protection

Data Protection Regulations were introduced  on 25th May 2018 which affect how our school handles people’s data. Compliance with the regulations will be an ongoing process and the school have appointed a Data Protection Officer to advise and manage compliance with the regulations.

Please see our policies for further information.
